Hi everyone, I just bought a pair of Wolverine 1000 mile boots, and they are beautiful but I have a question about fit. My heel fits perfectly in them, and even if I don't lace them up, there is maybe only 1/8 inch of back and forth movement on my foot. However, there seems to be a lot of room in the front part of the boot, especially in the toe box. There is maybe almost a whole inch of space between my big toe and the front of the boot. I have read that boots are supposed to be more roomy, but I'm not exactly sure this is what they mean. Should I return these and size down in length but go up in width to an E in order to reduce the toe room, or is this just how they are made? Thank you!
