how often do you smoke your pipe a day? I smoke mine once a day but I have two cob pipes i'd like to smoke them a little more is this ok? i'd like to go atleast twice a day

Cobs can handle a little more use than a briar so twice a day isn't a big deal. Besides if you burn one up just get another, they're made to be used.

When there is a hole in the side of it.
I have used the same pipe more than once in a day, but aside from a cob or meerschaum it isnt something that you want to do all the time. The cobs can take it without an issue and at their low price point - using them up isnt a big deal
My $4.99 Missouri Meerschaum Legend just burnt through the bottom after a year of regular use (a few drops *may* have hastened its demise), but I will be picking up another one or two because of the way they smoke.

word on the street is one should have at least 3 pipes as to rotate them-------- i am not a heavy smoker i have 8 just because i love the way they look, and i have 2 racks i want to fill so i may get 2 more just to fill the racks----i must choose wisely

Im gonna try to make a corn cob soon just for the heck of it just gotta figure out how to put a finish on it and a decent bit and a good piece of wood to go in the cob.
