how many shave with a Feather blade for SR?

I was using a DE blade for 7 days- I could probably have used them longer than that- what is the rough life of a Feather blade for SRs?

A person new to the "platform" might get less than a week. A more experienced shaver might get quite a bit more. I had close to 2 weeks off a Kai Pink blade. My opinion is a shallow angle, scything strokes and good lather help to preserve the keeness of an edge on feathers and conventional straights too. Also, your technique can change and adapt to the slowly dulling edge. So much so that the sharpness of a new blade will take me by surprise. YMMV tho as some long time shavers get around only a week.

I use a new blade every week, in that time I do 7 normal shaves and 7 head shaves and the last day I shave my wife's legs with it. It's possible to go for a few more shaves but I find it a easy reminder to start with a new blade on mondays. If you strop the blade you can take it much further but I don't longer bother with that. Like Kentos mentioned if you're new to this kind of razor you probably won't get that many shaves out of it (I didn't).

Before switching to straights, I was getting 6 or 7 shaves from a Feather Professional and 9 from Kai Captain.
