Hello everyone. I am relatively new here, but from what I have seen this seems like a fun online community. I was wondering how many razors you currently have in your collection? I am sure mine is modest compared to most, but I have a 40s era Gillette super speed, 3 slim Gillette adjustables, and 2 safety razors I have procured for a GF. Those are a blue star Gillette and a gold star Gillette. As you can see, I have not ventured much as far as brand is concerned.

I have a Edwin Jagger DE89BA11 - Barley Chrome that was my first razor. It's a fine razor, but I never use it.
I have a Gillette Slim that I use about once a month.
My daily razor is a Merkur Mergress. I could (obviously) get by with just this one.
My AD tends to creams and a new love for fragrances. It would have been cheaper to go with razors.

I think I may be missing one. I just started picking up gillettes when I saw them at thrift stores and antique shops. I'm more interested in getting some more new ones. I've got my eye on a Mergress and any Merkur slant and a Merkur 34C. But for the time being I'm pretty happy with what I have. I've got enough products and enough equipment for a while, although I'm going to do a couple brush restores in the next couple of weeks.

4..and that is really MORE than enough for me
1. Muhle R41 w/Weber Classic handle. This is the go to rig
2. Merkur Futur. My first "good razor"; I still like it and use frequently, just not as often as the R41
3. Gillette 1951 W3..one of those "Birthday Razors" that stumbled my way for a really decent price. Way too mild; seldom used. I really should sell it I guess.
4. Pureman Prototype. Well....what can I say. It is a fine razor that unfortunately never made it to the open market. Good balance, medium-aggressive, nice looking. Maybe some day it will become available.
