ok guys im trying to figure out how many old spice knockoffs are out there, i know of a few but figured everyone, on here would know if there are others around i dont know about

this is otherwise known as Ivy Club Spice, and even has similar coloring to the original Old Spice bottle, as well as a ship and anchor on the plastic bottle. *just bought some the other day to try*
Which ones do you know about? Maybe you know of some that we don't know about.

i belive they are, i havent personally smelled them but thats the way it seems, also skin bracer makes a spice after shave as well

the family dollar version is my favorite version even over the real old spice thats out right now
Nope ViJon is the manufacturer.
Proctor and gamble makes the so-called "real" Old Spice nowadays but in my opinion and the opinion of many others the Family Dollar/CVS ViJon mfg Spice is much better and closer to the original formula. I use it regularly.

I had almost forgotten cause it's back in the rear of my closet, but Master makes a cologne called Topaz which is also very similar to OS. ...Just to add to your confusion, Ray...
Check it out, or if you can't get any locally, let me know and maybe I can get some to you.Back in the seventies Avon made and AS called "Spicy" which was sorta like Old Spice jacked up on meth! Man, that stuff was strong and good! I have a couple NOS bottles of it in my closet.

They have multiple different bottle designs on those ViJon bottles. All permutations of Anchor, Wheel, Ship and Compass. One emblem on each of both sides. The Family Dollar I went to had three or four combinations on the shelf. Some bottles even had two anchors, or two ships.
I doubt there is any difference based on the emblems on the bottles, but we could start a rumor that there is. You know, just to make things interesting... That kind of thing would make a completist collector pull his hair out...

Yip, ya know I hear that the Ivory Club with TWO anchors on the bottle is in reality NOS Shulton left over from the P&G Buyout and sold to ViJon Labs at an auction and that it is hand bottled by virgin cheerleaders sitting on the Stone of Scone........
I don't know for at fact that this isn't true.
