I have a bunch. Does anyone know how long soap lasts for or if it does bad?

They loose sent over time, some manufacturers I've asked say theirs is good on the shelf for 3-5 years at least.
aaaaaaaages. people are still using vintage soaps from like the 50s. They can lose scent, but theyre still good.
Some last a long damn time. I've got some triple milled soaps that don't even look like they've been used and trust me, they have been used.
It also depends on the soap. If you buy a straight up glycerine soap and use it daily...a month or two.
Tallow and Palm based soaps last a LOT longer tho...like the better part of a year over daily use.

I have Yardely from the 50's and its still good! So you have a while!

It only does bad if you abuse it till it suffers from lack of self-esteem. Otherwise it should work just fine.
