How long can I keep Proraso?

I have a friend heading to Italy soon & she offered to get me some different Proraso products (pre shave & cream). I'd like to stock up because the prices are really good, but don't know how long the stuff keeps. Any ideas on this? How long before it is not useable? How do I best store it?

Creams tend to be labelled "12M" - 12 months from breaking the seal. Of course this is a conservative estimate: I have a couple of creams that have been open two years or more. Unopened, they should be good for quite a while. Keeping the stuff cool should help, too.

Thanks. Probably should have posted to the cream forum for this. A year opened, longer unopened should be plenty of time.

The shelf life of most shaving products is well beyond what is stated on the package. Many of us have rotations that will keep our current stash around for several years (opened). I don't ever worry about it. I once bought a few tubes of Godrej cream that were 2 years past their expiration date. They still perform like new.
