The product Tabac is from Germany.
But the word Tabac is the French word for Tobacco.
In French, It is pronounced tah bah
I have no idea how they pronounce the product name in Germany.

This is how I've always said it.
I've been thinking the last few minutes, and realized the majority of the shave products I own (Tabac included) I've never physically said out loud. I either type or read the names, but outside of this forum I have absolutely no shave-related discussion with anyone. I'm now sitting her saying this names out loud and realizing how funny they sound coming out of my mouth... "tabac, arko, ogallalla, speick, van der hagen, irisch moos".

Great clip! But I think I can hear a 'k' sound at the end of the name here. It's not too pronounced, but I think it's there, notably in the first mention of the name.

So we have a German product that has been given a French name. German for tobacco is tabak, pronounced just like it is spelled. The French pronunciation is Tah-bah, with a silent 'c'.
