How do you clean a beard brush?

I want to get rid of any beard balm that has gotten into the brush. Any tips?

I heated some water. Mixed in some dish soap then put the brush in there for a few minutes. I used a comb to clean the bristles. I let it dry completely, then I used an attachment on the vacuum to get whatever was left.

What MrLara said. Just take a bowl with a bit of water and some dish soap and let it soak for a bit. You dont need much water, just enough so that the bristles are in water but not so much that the wood handle is in the water.
