How Do Twin Injector Blades Shave?

Can anybody elaborate on these? I'm guessing this was just a worthless gimmick since they weren't made for very long?

I have used the Twin Injector II blades made by Schick in my adjustable injector. I thought that they were pretty good. I think Schick came up with these to squarely confront the Gillette Trac II twin blade. The blade cuts very well and I get about 7 shaves from it. The blades were widely available in Japan in the late 90's.

Thanks for the link. No one is talking about the shave quality, so I'm guessing there isn't much to talk about? There is a sizable BIN lot available at a well known auction site for a very reasonable price, but the blade magazine, as well as the key, appear to be made entirely of plastic, which I imagine would be lots of fun to deal with when loading blades. No takers is pretty much telling me these must not be very good blades.

Aha.. them are probably Personnas, I enjoy the single injector blade from Personna but the dispenser sucks. I did like the Schicks though.

My Schick Type L Injector that I got NOS came with some Twin Injector blades. I found them to shave very smooth, and provide for a very close, and comfortable shave.

However, the Personna, and Schick blades I regularly use in this Injector also provide me with the same smooth, comfortable shave. Injectors rock!!

So in a nutshell, I don't think they were any better or worse than a normal Injector blade; certainly not worth any sort of price premium.

Personna's metal/plastic dispenser was ok until a couple of years ago when it was cheapened and started to break often.

The all plastic dispenser for the twin blades has been fine for me as well.

The price was set a little high at first (at least for those who used to buy these for $10 a case a couple of years ago), but the seller lowered the BIN at least twice so it became a good deal.

+1 based on the one blade I used in my J1 Injector. They give just as sweet a shave as my other Injector blades, though I have to be more thorough when rinsing them in order to clear stubble out of the gap between the blades.
