I stopped at the antique mall by my house after work today and found a few things.
1. Schick Dial Injector
2. Gem Micromatic
3. Gem Pat'd 1912 (not sure what its called)

I paid $20 for the lot, and spent the evening cleaning them up.

They were all in an old shoe box, and the guy said he was happy to get 20 for them. I should have taken before pictures though, because these razors were all crusty.
Does anyone know about the Star Razor? Is it just a Gem copy? I can't find much about it.

Ummmm, YOU SCORED! That is a fantastic buy at $20. Congrats. The Star is the same head as the Gem 1912 you have-just on a plastic (or is it bakelite?) handle. Star was another company besides Gem and Ever Ready that made these. Great shaver.

The Schick Injector adjustable works so well for me that I was happy to pass on my Cobra Classic!

The star should be the same as a GEM. I think GEM, ER, and Star were all made by the same company. (I could be wrong, though.)

Thank you, gents! I'm pretty excited to try them out. Are the single edge blades for the Gem razors special ones for shaving or are they the standard rectangle blades like at the hardware store?

Definitely get blades for shaving both CVS & walgreens carry them. Do not buy from your local hardware store.

blades made for scraping stuff off glass etc. are not going to be made to the same specs as ones for the face, they just wont be sharp enough

That Star with the green handle is really unique, I don't recall ever seeing a Star with that handle. Is the handle hollow or solid?
