I keep seeing people whose reviews of certain blades shows them to be sharper than my experience has shown. It occurred to me that perhaps their razor is more aggressive than mine. Can anyone tell me how aggressive my Parker 86R is?

The Parker 86R is a mild shaving razor. To the best of my knowledge, its head design was taken from the Gillette SS, like the Lady Gillette. It makes for a nice introductory DE razor, and a good one for those who have very sensitive skin, and need a smooth, comfortable shave.

Thanks for the info. I felt like it was fairly mild, but didn't really know how it compared to other razors. Sounds like there wouldn't be much benefit from buying a SS then.
