Any fans of this delightful stuff? I can't comprehend eating a steak without a smear.
Best with beef. Better than horse raddish source IMHO.
The stuff you mix with water straight out of the Colmans tin is better than the pre mixed in the tube if you like the heat.
If you put a pinch in a beef burger mix it adds a great flavour.
As an Englishman, to me its a bit like having salt and pepper.
Taylor's for me, less sugary tasting than Colman's.
I would have liked to try the original Keen's.
Taylor ... Coleman ... Keen ... it's all a quantum leap ahead of that glow-in-the-dark-yellow-drenched-in-vinegar toxic waste that usually passes for "mustard" in (North) America.
I get Keen's on a regular basis ... is it "reformulated"?
I remember my grandmother having the little tin box of Coleman's and mixing up a bit whenever we had a fancy dinner.
+1 ... I started off with the powdered version, then switched to the pre-mixed for the convenience. Not even close. If you can stand the little bit of extra work and wait 10 minutes for it to congeal, the powder is the way to go.The stuff you mix with water straight out of the Colmans tin is better than the pre mixed in the tube if you like the heat.
