So my wife and friends/family are asking for bday and xmas gift ideas. Id love to get some artisan soap or cream and aftershave etc, but I'm so new to this world I'm not sure where to point them.. Any help would be awesome!! Currently I have 0 after shave and just drugstore cream and 1 soap puck from colonel conch bay rum..

You'll probably get a bunch of different answers, but my vote would be for Mike's Natural soaps (Vintage Blades LLC sells this) or Stirling. Rod at Stirling also does custom scent blends if you'd like to customize things that way.
For aftershaves, my favorites would be Thayer's Cucumber or Lucky Tiger, which while great aren't "artisan."

The boring but practical answer would be gift certificates: any of the supporting vendors, or Amazon in a pinch.
