help with broken shave stick?

Something in the twist mechanism of my D.R. Harris shaving stick has broken and now it won't push the soap up - it just twists freely and doesn't do anything.

I know there's plenty of soap left in the thing, but very little is protruding above the top of the container. Any advice on either fixing the container or, more likely, getting the soap out?

Thanks, guys. I pried off the bottom, and now I have a push-up D.R. Harris stick. (I guess that should have been obvious enough for me to figure out without seeking help! )
