Help on identification

I've acquired this little beautiful travel brush that came in a decagonal bakelite container.
I don't know the manufacturer, but the brush must be German as the writing on it say:

"Vulkanisiert - Reine borsten" which translates to: "Vulcanized - pure bristle"

I'm hoping someone out there might recognise the logo and can enlighten me to the company that made it- the logo is a man carrying a brush.
