Help me deciding on my new razor!

Hi, I am going to buy an Edwin Jagger DE89 at the end of the month, however I am still not sure if I should get the barley edition or the regular chrome handle..

Is there any difference other than the handle? or perhaps the weight, that makes the barley a better purchase?

The only real difference I know of that the straight chrome handle can sometimes be slippery.

That's the exact reason I picked the barley. I'm a clumsy idiot at the best of times, and a razor blade attached to a smooth handle in the presence of soap and water didn't fill me with confidence
