Help identifying this razor

Hi!

Could any of you give me any info about the razor in the picture?

After checking mr-razor.com I guess it is a Slim twist, made in England in the 60's.
Is this correct?

Any thoughts on the zipper case?
Did it come with the razor or is it bought separately?
Is the razor from poland?

What would be a fair price for something like this?

Any guesses, facts and thoughts is welcome!

Now the pics...(I'm sorry about low quality on these)

Thank you for the input!
Amazing how we can always rely on getting good feedback here.
B&B rules! :001_smile

Yes, maybe it's the Slim DeLuxe.

Can anyone help describing the difference of the Slim DeLuxe and the Slim twist?
Did only the DeLuxe have the gold plating?

Anyone seen this kind of case before?

OK, so I won the auction. Paid about $7 for this razor. (Don't know if this is a good price or not)
Looking forward to getting it delivered.

Will try to clean it up a bit.
Anyone have any tips on cleaning up the handle on this!

By the way: Any tips on how to clean up this thing?
Can I polish it with anything or would it ruin the plating? (autosol?)
How about the handle? Any tips on how to make it shine?

Thanks!

First try a good soak in boiling or near boiling water with a bit of dish soap in a plastic tub (do not boil the razor itself) then spray it down with Scrubbing Bubbles (or it's Norwegian counterpart) but just be careful as I've had SB start turning a yellowish color with some gold color razors,if you see any color that looks like the finish in the foam rinse it off NOW as it may be the finish.
If you've gotten to that step with no pitfalls start a gentle scrubbing with a soft bristle toothbrush and some pipe cleaners to get in to the nooks and crannies.
Most people recommend MAAS metal polish for the metal parts but in your case (1) I'm not sure of if you can get it in Norway and (2) I know MAAS is not good on gold, I've used Weimans Metal Polish but I would imagine that any polish you can find that is safe for silver or gold plate should work.
