Nice find, finishers can be very expensive. So that can be considered a bargain. Just remember to get a good 12k edge it all starts with a good bevel set! From the begining, it can make or break your results. Make sure you get a good bevel set and the next stone removes the scratch pattern from the previous stone then move to the next one and so on to your finisher.
When you dial it in be prepared for the best shave you ever had!

One of the easiest ways is use a marker on the edge and spine. As you hone you will see where your stone is touching. You want to remove all the ink from the edge and have a even line on the spine. When you get that done go outside under the sun and with sun behind you look down on you edge and mone it around. If you see a any bright reflections you did not reach the edga. Mark it again and repeat until you can not see any of that reflection.
