It's sold at Walgreens. I bought one bottle for around $9. It is heavily mentholated and very slick. I will try it tonight. Has any of you used this cream before? If so, thoughts please.

Head Blade shave cream

I just finished a bottle of Head Slick by Head Blade. It lathers easily using a brush although it is designed to be used brushless. Its lather has a different consistency than a European cream, being a little on the thick side. If you add too much water, it will lose its slickness before it reaches a runny state. So, add water slowly, checking for slickness as you go. Since I have oily skin, I can't comment on its moisturizing properties. For me, it works well. If you want it even slicker, put a little Williams on your brush first. I believe you can buy it at Wal-Mart too.

yeah.. I look forward to shaving tonight. I like the menthol variety a lot. the stronger the better.
Yes, its one of my favorites, nice to have a cream you can just pick up at the corner store.
I used to use it all the time when I shaved my head, but as mentioned it is really a brushless gel kind of cream.
It's a bit too mentholated for my face, but it did provide good slip when shaving the old noggin.

It works well for a brushless cream. I keep a bottle for the occasional day when I shave my head in the shower. It does work well for the head shave with my Headblade.
Love the Headslick on both the face and dome. Works good brushless but really comes alive with a brush and a little water.
Its good on it's own, I mix it with a little JM Fraser and it's amazing.

In my opinion, it's not a bad cream in its own right, and for the price, it's quite good. Having said that, it won't get me to give up my mainstays.

I slathered it with my hands... I should have used the brush right? I can't wait for tomorrow!
You tell me after you try it out. I have my opinion, but yours it what counts. Besides, it's been so long since I've used it, my memory of it may not be so exact.

holy crap! I made some awesome lather. I started with a quarter sized amount in my lather bowl(warmed up as well) and added warm water as needed to build lather. I could no believe how well it lathered. I'm still drooling
If you want a menthol kick to the groin, use Shave Secret OIL and HeadSlick. You might want go really slow, as this combo is super slick. You might shave yor nose off if you go to fast. Love the HeadBlade.
