I feel like I might need to try a Paladin beehive. It doesn’t look like much is in stock at Paladin. Are these all custom orders?

My El Dorado was in stock. If you follow their FB they advise when drops come. Or you can just keep an eye on their shop for options you like.
Early on I was blessed with a bunch of PIF wins. 8 of my first 13 brushes were either PIF wins, giveaway wins, or just given to me. All but a couple of those have been passed along in PIFs of my own.
I'll probably part with 2 or 3 of these in the near future and replace them. I've been eyeballing 5-6 additional brushes with some different synthetic knots to round out the collection a bit. I really only have 2 knots that are the same right now, the Kong and the Maggard 26mm.

I totally understand! I try not to have too many also. Most of my list is also gone. I’m actually considering purging some again soon and only keeping my absolute favorites.
I admire that! And I’m not being ironic or cynical.
If forced to choose those 5 or 6, what your list would look like today, if I may ask?
Easy as I have still own almost everything I have bought. I gave away a Simpson Commodore and a few cheaper Badgers, synths and boars over the years (Not listed).

I must have bought at least 25 brushes (badger, boar, synth), but I don't keep a list because I have no desire to be reminded on how much I've spent on brushes. I now regularly rotate 5, but probably have another 5 boxed in my basement.
No, but I wanted to do such a list today. Couldn't, because had too much work. And I think I will probably miss some, since there are a lot I've tried, and some were decades ago.
