Anyone try this soap yet? If it lathers like the others I have tried (Honey, Sage, Aloe) it could be a winner.

I was also wondering what the scent could possibly be. When did they sneak this one out? The hunt begins now.

Goat milk with lanolin? Is that what that means? I haven't seen it available any where. Interesting.

I received one PIFed by a friend recently. Awesome. The lather is rich, smooth, creamy -- and the blade glides like a dream. The scent is discreet, I could not describe it. Nice though.

It probably compares to MWF, which I haven't tried yet.

"Schafsmilch" translates to "sheep milk" actually. Few here in Germany seem to know this fine Austrian product; who does know it almost always loves it. My friends and I refer to this soap as the "Baaaaaa....." ;o)

Try it, it is surely worth a test drive. Converted, it sells for around 5 US$ for a 60 grams puck (over here anyway).

I'm glad you came along -- great report, thanks! Maybe we can coax John at WCS to stock some since currently I cannot find any US retailers.

Yeah, seems like West Coast Shaving or Royal Shave would be able to stock this item, since that already carry Haslinger.
