Anyone heard anything about this gadget? I figured it was something similar to the Aeropress, except it uses a pump similar to that of a portable bikepump that gives it a bit more pressure to work with. I would hesitate to call what it makes actual espresso, but I don't really know. It does advertise that it produces a crema. They have a couple of variations, one that uses premade pods of coffee and one that will take proper grounds.

I've heard of it before, and I think it's an awesome idea.

Having never used one, however, I have a hard time saying what I think of it from a "results" standpoint. It's not cheap, from what I remember, or I'd have tried it already.

Yeah, it's about $100 for the domepod (ground coffee) version, a bit less for the ESE Pod.
Not nearly the bargain that the Aeropress is, although if it makes a decent shot I might just give it a try.
