Handle help : New Vs. Tech Ball End

Does anyone have both and can take a picture side by side? What is the weight difference?

I have an extra Ball End Tech handle and am wondering how well it will look and work on a New Long Comb.

I know the older handles are hollow so there’s probably a weight and diameter difference.

I can get the repro one if I need to but I like keeping it all genuine G.

Here are a few pictures of a NEW LC with a ball end handle, a NEW SC with a common bar handle and a C1 (1957) Tech. The Tech Handle is heavier than the older handles.

The first issue New LC came with the ball end handle. I prefer the ball end handle on a New.

It appears that between a Tech BE and a New BE the diameter is very close but the ball is bigger on the New.

The Tech is one piece and more solid, plus a little shorter. Diameter at the knurling is very close like you say.
