Handforged 5/8 Limited Edition Damasus

I came across RasurPur webstore and saw the Handforged 5/8 Limited Edition Damasus Straight Razor with Historical Faux Ivory Scales and i am thinking of pulling the trigger, what are your views on the quality of the brand and this actual razor??

I've heard the new Bokers are nice, but I wouldn't pay that price for that razor.

You could get a custom Damascus razor, or a few AMAZING and beautiful shavers for that price.

Pass. Boker razors are just "ok" and they're wildly overpriced. That kinda $ for a razor with plastic scales? Madness....

I haven't shaved with one. As others have said, that is a lot of money for a razor with plastic scales.

If they found a way to "parallelize" the 300 layers to create a damascus steel edge that's as good as normal razor steel, then it may be worth the money... but do you really think they have? Honestly, I'd rather spend the money on a custom damascus with the single layer edge (I forget the craftsman who does this, sorry) and some kind of very nice scales made to my exact specifications.

You asked for opinions so here's mine. Pass on this one. For that kind of money you could buy several superb vintage razors that I think overtime you will find far more rewarding to own and to shave with.

Hi have have this Razor from Boker

I bought it July 2009 und sell it Juni 2010.
It was an perfect Razor and I have a lot of fun to shave me with it.
The processing is top-notch.
I sell it because I need a customrazor from buddel.
