Hair Product types

Hey All,
I have had a problem for a while, with the choice of hair products to style my hair. I have thin blond/brown hair its short at the back and I have a long fringe (about an inch below my eyes) parted to one side at the front. The goal is to find a hair product that does not make my hair oily and will keep my hair in the way I do it in the morning, while still having a natural look.

any suggestions?

Matte finish clay. I use Aveda grooming clay.

Pomade? Groom & clean? I'd say Brylcream but that might be a tad oily.

I just use Clubman gel in my hair.

Bumble and Bumble Sumotech-great hold, no shine
American Crew fiber- ditto, but I prefer Sumotech
