This is my great-granfather's Clark Bros Cutlery Co straight razor. It has "PRINCE" engraved on the blade. I know its a Germany company but I can't find much information on them. Could somebody help me out? Also how do you date these?

Clark Bros. Cutlery (also owned Northfield Knife 1919 - 1929 and Continental Cutlery 1925 - 1929).

In business from 1895 to 1929.
If there is a street address on the blade, the date of manufacture can be narrowed to within a few years.
Clark imported razors from Germany, re-branded for them, and also manufactured/purchased American made razors.
I don't know the German manufacturer they purchased from.
