Got my Whipped Dog 30mm today!

So yesterday morning I ordered a whippeddog brush and today I got home to find it on my table! Fantastic turn around time and service!! I did a couple lathers up stairs and I may be in trouble... I think I may end up loving the size of this thing! I'll be doomed for the rest of my brush purchasing days! The brush arrived with minimal badger smell. I used the cleaner as instructed and the smell was completely gone. The brush has a good weight to it and good balance in my hand. The only downside was it did shed several hairs. I'm hoping this will stop as I continue to use it and it breaks in more. The tips were quite soft and had decent back bone. It seems that the brush has about a 54mm loft. Don't have a micrometer to check exactly though. . I'll be using it to shave with tomorrow. On to the pictures

I have the identical brush, except mine is ivory. I have said it before -put a big brand name on it, charge $150 and people will still think it's a bargain!

Did you get Larry to set the knot deeper than normal? Or is it the default depth?

I agree he could charge much more and still be a bargain buy.

I had it set at normal depth. I don't think I would set it any deeper either. The only thing I would like is have a longer handle on it!

I am considering a Whipped Dog brush and I think you just put me over the edge. The brush looks incredible. I may see about a tad less loft if Larry recommends it. I like a stiff brush myself. Congrats.
