What's new

Got my green onyx TH brush!

It's amazing, and quite hefty. Mine actually looks quite a bit greener than the picture on the website, and these don't quite get the color right. Seems to have a good mix of colors as well. I can't wait to use it tomorrow.
Thank you Truefitt and Hill for the 20% off!

That is sweet looking. As someone else asked, what was this a medium, or...? Specs?

I also noted the lettering. Seems that's common with Rooney's. My 2/1's "R" in Rooney looks like a "P". I like the newer script logo of the newest Rooneys. But I wonder if those too will be plagued by imprint hiccups.

"Pooney"

I may have to send it back to Rooney over that :scared:

I've been looking to find a "presento" upgrade for the 2002 Pure Shavemac I gave my son back then. These T&H brushes are on my radar because of my experience with my Rooney 2/1 Super.

But I'm still confused about US T&H offerings. I understand that the silvertip line is Rooney made and that lesser series are Vulfix. But some elsewhere have opined that the T&H silvertips are just that and not the super silvertips Rooney makes (http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index..._Grades#Rooney). Meaning that undiscounted, the T&H are really a lesser grade of badger than the equivalently priced Rooney.

Does anyone know the real story, here again for US offerings, from T&H?

Very nice indeed!

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but is this actual onyx as in heavy crystal - I ask as it looks very real to me?

Real story is that T&H silvertip = Rooney super silvertip.

That's from the CEO of T&H USA. Call T&H if you have any questions.

It is the small brush, and boy does it lather. I was using the super vulfix before and thought that was amazing (compared to AOS pure) and I can't believe how much better this is than the vulfix super, it is WAY different.

The bristles are softer themselves but the more dense know made for a firmer overall brush, I can't explain how surprised I am at the difference. This is the only brush for me now.
