Got a convert!

When I work at the firehouse I bring my DE gear and set it out on the bathroom counter. I work with a lot of twenty something's, and they look at my gear and are very curious. A couple of them came up to me and called me a "hard core shaver." As I would shave, they would stop in and ask questions, I almost have a hard time getting through my shave in a timely manner. Well, I walked out of the bunk room this morning and the oncoming Lieutenant comes up to me and tells me that he went out and bought a starter wet shaving kit for $80.00. It consists of a DE razor, brush, soap and 7 O'Clock green label blades. He asked me if I would show him how to use it. He was tired of paying $20 for cartridges, he thinks this will save him money

Now if you don't introduce him to B&B he might actually save money. At least he will have a fighting chance.

I thought it would save me money too... $2 for a cartridge or 10¢ for a DE blade.... But then I had to get another Gillette... Bam there went $20' then again, another $30' then one for $100' and its not stopping. Where does it end!?!?

You are correct, but, I think if I don't introduce him to B&B I will be doing him and the community a disservice. He might as well experience AD.

Your welcome. I love what I do and I've been doing it for almost 23 years. I loved Rescue me also. It got a little bizarre. If you've never been in a firehouse before that is the closest you will ever get.

I have tried with a couple friends. None of them tried even though I gave them a razor and a brush and some blades. Next time it's only if someone asks...
