Thanks RBCebu - refer to my post in the thread about modern razors. I have both a W53 and a W59. The W53 is crap whilst the mega-chopper W59 is a really good shaver. To be fair to the W53, it could be the guy who honed it (moi!).

Which ones are carbon steel?

All are steel with carbon. Some have chromium added but none have enough chromium added to be what most would class as stainless steel.
