Going to London - need Mayfair area recommendation please

My wife and I are going to London next month. I've scheduled a shave at Trumpers Jermyn Street location, and my wife is having her hair done at a salon just off Savile Row about a 10 minute walk away. I will have about an hour or two of spare time before she finishes her appointment. I'd appreciate any recommendations regarding good places to pass the time in that neighborhood...coffee house, clothing shops, galleries, etc. Thanks in advance.

Shopping on Oxford St, Bond St or Picadilly Circus, or visit the Burlington Arcade.
See the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square.
See the free speech artists at Hyde Park corner.
Revel in the glorious architecture all around you.
Go to just about any pub that hasn't been themed.

Sorry I can't help with suggestions as we stuck mostly to the big tourist type sites, but I do have a funny story! Our first trip to London was to go to a Christmas bazaar in Hyde Park, so we browsed the vendors then headed back to the tube station with the plan of grabbing lunch on the way. We found a place called 'Pizza on the Park' and thought, yay a pizza joint! Not so, it was very nice, everyone was in nice suits and nice dresses having Friday afternoon lunch - and we walk in pushing a stroller w/a 3 years old, pregnant wife, and we're all in jeans/polo type clothes. They were very nice of course, served us with smiles. Even gave the little one a balloon. Good times, enjoy your trip!
