I paid $200 for mine and the packaging is no wear near as minty as his are. But I wouldn't pay what the seller is asking for 6 unless I was rich and money was no object.
I can't get over the $1.79 price tag on them... and that was retail price! Good Lord, we just don't know what we've got until it's gone sometimes.

Wow. That's gotta be rare though. I'm not much of a collector in the sense that you buy something and don't use it..... but I could never bring myself to use those..... and therefore I could never bring myself to buy it. I'd feel more like the steward of a great shaving relic. It's amazing they haven't been sold individually. My hat's off to whoever kept the contents of that case together in one collection.

Without seeing the link, there was/is a member here who bought six NOS, unopened Slims for a pretty penny a while back. He was open about paying a premium, but I don't know if he ever sold them. I wonder if these were the same razors.

Same seller tried to sell 6 NOS M1 slims for a penny under two grand last year......
I believe he is just trying to recoup his investment...he is trying to sell the same razors and has had little success. I sympathize with him. We all oooh'ed and aaah'ed when he bought them and posted pics here, but he did say he had spent a good bit. I would have had a hard time passing that carton of razors up also. We've all bought razors for more than what they were worth.
Buy low and sell high is the usual mantra, but we get crazy when it comes to these things.
