GIT scent in a AS splash?

Does anyone know of a good AS splash that complements a GIT type fragrance?

I have been using Clubman original, but wondered if there were others.

Any ones that make GIT-type even better?

I can't think of anything that directly fits your requirements, but you could use a lightly scented lotion of your choice and then follow it on with the actual Creed GIT after-shave moisturiser cream. I owned this cream for a while and it was very strongly scented with the GIT fragrance.

Thanks for the Coty link. I have never heard of Aspen.

From Shave of the Day forum, it looks like some people layer with a woodsy type Aftershave which would send me to that thread I this forum.

Of course, if I went the balm Way I could always use QCS as they have a GIT type one.

There are a lot of 'similars' to GIT...and I'm certainly no expert...but I've not seen/sniffed anything just like it.
What I've done is just to spritz the GIT along with a little water or witch hazel.
GIT is more of a light cologne anyway, it does not have the potency or longevity of heavier stuff.
I would not want to layer it on top of a highly scented a/s however.
Just my 2c.

I like that idea! Thayers, Glycerin, and Aloe added to GIT. Do it yourself might be the Answer thank you!

Aspen is indeed a close match. You can sometimes find it pretty cheap on the bay. So pick up a bottle and give it a try.

Typically runs about $10-$20 per bottle at just about any place that sells lower end colognes (Wal-mart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, ect.).

The aftershave is basically a less potent cologne though, with no skin healing goodies in it. It will burn furiously if applied to a fresh shaven face.

Aspen, I will check it out. I can add some healing goodies to it.
