Gillette Synthetic Shaving Brush

I was doing a Google search for Godrej shaving soap and came accross a package deal with a Gillette Synthetic Shaving Brush and a puck of Godrej.

Does anyone know anything about this brush ? And is it any good ? Especially considering the low price ?

This brush, and several like it, are the toaster-shakings of the synthetic brush range. They get the job done a little better than your bare hands, but that's about all that can be said for them.

It's the basic brush as I understand it for the masses of India. Probably the equivalent to our VDH Boar brushes.

You expectations for a mass market, cheap synthetic brush should be quite low. 'Nuff said.

On a serious note...as quality synthetic brush user...I hate seeing brushes like this b/c it gives synthetics a bad rep...
