Gillette super adjustable with plastic part under head

I'm looking to get a super adjustable . I notice that some of the later models have a black plastic piece under the head. Does this affect performance or resale value? Is it more or less desirable compared to the super adjustables that don't have it? Thanks

They perfomr the same to me. It may be a matter of choice.

I have had them both and like the all metal version better. No reason just a preference,they both shave the same.
