Gillette Super Adjustable 109 ca. 1975

One should hope that the new mechanisms will stand the test of time as well as the Gillettes certainly seem to do.
Agreed. In the case of the Razorock Adjust, that was offered on sale for just $7.99 this past holiday season, even if it only lasts a few years it's still a great value. It's well chromed so it ought to be good for 5-10+ years at least. My oldest DE, a 4+ year old Weishi 9306 Long Handle is still going strong with no corrosion. For these razors I suspect the biggest risk is if they get dropped and lose blade alignment as a result.

As a premium razor selling for over $100 the T2 will hopefully last for decades for those who own one.

Nice to have some current production options. Both of these introduced over the past 2-3 years.

For comparison the Super Adjustables probably sold for $20-$30 in today's dollars adjusted for inflation.

Very late to the subject, but likely that SA with far too much gap is just "underclocked" -- push the spring back and turn the adjuster past "1" and it will screw up another turn on the thread, should get the gap back to normal. There is a tab on the ring that prevents it form turning past 1 or 9, but pushing the spring in clears it.
