I bought some from a seller in Poland at the beginning of the year and they are nice blades.
I bought some Gillette Platinum from the seller in Romania and they appear to be current
production. See link below. If the Stainless blades he is selling aren't double wrapped with
only two wax dots, like my Platinum blades, then they may also be current production blades.
I just got through with my Gillette Silver Blue 5 pack and opened my reached pack of Gillette Silver Bleues that I had purchased at a local antique shop. I'm sure you're reading this and wondering why I would post about this in a Gillette Stainless post. Well come to find out that the pack contain 3 Silver Bleues and 3 Stainless. I won't complain as I bought them simply to try new blades. I just lucked up and got 2 different kinds in one pack. I'm going to go with the Stainless for my next few shaves and see how they work out.
They're still in production in Saint Pete, as far as I know. They're good blades, available in the shops in Romania. They'll have the distinct glue spots on them and they're pretty sharp, yes.
