Gillette series Cool Wave Aftershave?

I bought some of this just because the scent appealed to me while I was wasting time on the shave aisle at Walmart. I just tried it and I have to say its a nice AS. It goes on with the familiar AS sting because of the alcohol. It feels refreshing and as I said, I really like the scent. It comes in a nice little glass bottle. The opening is wider than most AS, so be mindful of that if you try it. I usually go for more vintage AS, but I have to say that this was quite nice.
Anyone else try this offering? Your thoughts would be welcomed.

A favorite of mine. I've kept it on hand for several years. In fact, I got a new bottle last weekend.

I think what attracted me so much was that it seems like an original scent. I could be wrong. It just appeals to me.

I like it. The name invokes an aquatic or fresh frag, but really, it's just boatloads of moss. shamu1 over at Basenotes pointed this out to the forumites there a few years back. I'd never have sniffed it otherwise. Bought a bottle immediately. It layers well with old-school fougeres or stands on its own, and in no way does it smell aquatic or ozonic. Good stuff, cheap, and locally available. What's not to like?

I like this one too. It's a little drying, but works pretty good. The scent reminds me of the 80s for some reason.

This is the one and only aftershave I've found that I react negatively to. I broke out in a severe rash that took several days to clear up. I have no idea what caused it but I won't be trying it again anytime soon. It's too bad because I really did enjoy the scent.

This aftershave is great! Don't get me wrong, I love the classic scents. Tabac is one of my favorite AS's, use it frequently. I've got quite a few other classics that I use less frequently, including old spice classic, clubman, AV musk (haven't tried yet, but smells nice), brut (haven't used), and also have the old spice pure sport. But if I'm going out, Cool Wave FTW! Girls love it, I've gotten a couple compliments and I've only had the AS for a couple weeks. I'm a young guy, and if I wear this, I never worry that someone will say I smell like an old man, which is definitely good for the confidence haha. Plus it does the job as an antiseptic and preventing razor burn just as good as any other AS I own.

To be honest, I could just have Tabac and Cool Wave, and kick out every other AS I have. I just like having the others around for their nostalgia value .

I'm appreciating the fact that it's manufactured in the country that's the birthplace of all great scents - France. There's a lot to be said about that.

Just tried it. Love it. It lingers more than lots of cheap aftershaves. Has a refreshing cool feeling. I've even found that after having it on a whole it even cuts through so fragrance free moisturizer.
