I found I really enjoy the Gillette Platinum blades. Unfortunately, I have not found an on-line store that carries them. Does anyone know where I can buy them. Thanks.

I believe that there have been several iterations of Gillette Platinums. I assume that you're talking about the most recent version, in the cardboard box, made
in St. Petersburg.
It seems that they are no longer producing them. The good news is that they make a few highly regarded blades in the plant, so you're likely to find one that you like.
There are three 7 O'clock varieties made there, plus the Perma Sharp brand and Polsilver Super Iridium.

I still have some Gillette Platinums. They feel very similar to Gillette 7 O'Clock Blacks, which can be ordered online.
White cardboard box with Gillette in blue letters and Platinum in silver letters, right? Alas, I have only 8 packs left. Indeed out of production. Some time ago, on eBay I saw 60 blades offered for >$125 if my memory is correct. Yikes! Undoubtedly the best blades I've ever used. YMMV, but Gillette's Silver Blues and Nacets (SS and Platinum)work very well for me; unfortunately, they are expensive.
Off topic, Super-Max Super Platinums are almost impossible to find as well. Not talking Super-Max Platinums; rather Super Platinums. Damn good blades that are gone, I guess.

Buying lots of blades that soon will go out of production seems to be a good idea.

My current absolute favorite blade is the Gillette 7's O'clock Super Platinum blue pack from the Czech Republic. Sharp and sooo smooth. Much nicer than the Indian Gillette 7 O'clocks in my experience. The only place I can find them current in ShaveTools. Not cheap. But they seem to last. And I got some there a few weeks ago.

The Art of Shaving by me sells the Platinums: $6 for 5 or $20 for 100
These are sharper than blades I've used (Derby and Shark) in my first month of DE shaving. Super smooth for me in my 40's Super Speed, and no tugging. I got a tad "greedy" on my chin and didn't respect the edge enough. Otherwise, I'm pretty impressed.

Just checked with the 2 AOS stores nearest me. They want $6 for a pack of 5 blades, and $5 per pack of 5 blades if you buy at least 4 packs. So 100 blades is $100, or $1 per blade. Prices at both stores were the same.
