Not necessarily 1933 -- that style was made for a number of years in the mid '30s -- but yes, it's a No. 77 set that you've got there. I like that particular head quite a lot. To me it's somewhere between a standard American long-comb NEW head and a NEW DeLuxe -- closer to the long-comb NEW, but a little more substantial.

Thank you mac I bibd on it think it looks like a nice shave.. lovely looking head but have to say I'm a convert to the open comb:)
And thank you maxime

I just think it's rad .all ways say no more razors the happen to stumble on one ohh that would look nice in the den :) I all ways hope traditional shaving saves money ...
Krona think we must put up a review ..

I had a feeling this Was a #77 but didn't wanna say incase I was wrong and didn't have time to check if I was right hehe.

No problem Smokey, folks here likes 'What's this razor !?' threads, We can show off our knowledge.....ok ok, Mr-Razor's knowledge :biggrin1:

You got a decent razor. To get that green off try a silver polish such as Maas or Flitz, then wash the silver polish off with a mild dish soap. You are down to brass anyway (that is what causes the green) so you may as well polish that green away and shine up the brass underneath.

@ max as the old saying goes you dont ask you dont get or dont know :) I do have have a another razor but i know what it is :)
