Gillette Gold Tech Eldorado question

Mr Razor has the below set on his site listed as a "1956 Eldorado Gold Tech Made in Argentina".

I've also seen this very exact set - same case, case/lining colors, razor and blade box - but on the underside of the razor, it's marked "REG US PAT. OFF." has the Gillette diamond logo and "MADE IN USA" - Nothing about Argentina.

The question here is, did Gillette make the same set in the USA or has someone changed out the bottom? The MADE IN USA one didn't have a date code on it but I find it hard to believe they were making the very same exact set down to the case and colors of the case/lining in the 1930s for the US and the 1950s for Argentina.

I have this razor with the made in US bottom plate also with no date code. My case is different though. Its dark blue on the outside and a richer dark blue on the inside. It says Gillette Gold Tech on the inside of the case. I do not have the blade box or the original packaging.

I got it from my father who got it from my grandfather so not sure exactly how old it is but the razor seems to be in good condition it looks as it was only used a few times from the looks of it.
