Gillette FatBoy and Schick Krona spotted in the wild

I was in an antique mall today and found a vendor that had two razors that seem to be held in high reguards around here.

Gillette Fatboy E-1
The case was in impeccable condition and razor as well. Top of case had no cracks and was clear wiht no yellowing. I didn't see any brassing or corrosion. I moved the dial from 1 - 9 and it was as smooth as butter. The numbers had all of the paint in them and the indicator was still red. It had a blade in it. I removed that and it had nothing but a slight layer of soap scum under it. It also had a 6 pack container of Gilltte stainless blades with only one blade in it. Not a bad but at $24.95, but I already have one from last weekend and I spent my limit as well for the time being.

Schick Krona
Plastic tip, Schick Krona on the doors $8.00 I have one of these as well from last weekend with a nickle tip.

Both of these razors are a great buy for a person looking for additional razors to put in thier rotation.

If you live on the South side of Houston or willing to drive south of Houston, PM me for info on where these razors can be found. I dont know if thier pricing is firm or not.

$8 for a Krona is a good deal.

Definitely get the Krona. They're great razors. Personally it's my favorite DE after my Gillette Tech.

I am not offerring to drive there, purchase it, and ship it to anyone. I have had several requests that I do so. Unfortunatley my intention was only to help out a local that may be having a hard time finding a good priced fatboy in good condition. Even with the many antique stores in the Houston area few carry Gillette safety razors.
