Gillette Aristocrat razor, or is it? Help identifying please.

I was wondering if anyone can help with identifying my most recent purchase. The case is in poor condition but the razor is great and opens and closes perfectly.
I got it off the bay, in the description it just said vintage razor, so no help there.
The box lining, as you can see from the pictures, says Gillette Aristocrat made in England.
I have being doing a bit of research to see if I can date the razor but I cant seem to find out, maybe Im being daft?
From what I have found though, I'm not sure if its actually a Super Speed and just in the wrong box.

On the head of the razor it says 'BRIT PAT 694093'.
Underneath it has the Gillette logo and says 'made in England'. Also it looks like it has the numbers '11'.

If anyone can shed any light on this, it would be great.

Does this apply only to US made, it is stamped 'made in england'?

Did the US flare tip's/superspeeds have that "11" marking indicating the degree of aggression? I don't have my flare tip handy.

Not that i am aware of. The English did not number many of the Razors. It may be a daunting task, but may be with some help who knows.

Yes, a great flaretip Rocket. I have one and it's a great shaver and the knurling really provides a good grip! Happy shaving with that looker!
