Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow

I just used my first Gillette yellow and really like it. If Gilette Blacks are going out of production, I'm looking for replacements. I like this blade.
Comments, opinions?
I just ordered some Gillette greens, too.

The SWMBO likes these. She get around 6 shaves with 1 blade. Well she went to 6 and stopped to clean her razor and try a new blade.

The Yellows are the only 7 O'clock blades I have used but I really like them. I usually get 4 or 5 DFS or better shaves per blade.

These have become a recent favorite of mine, just bought 100 of them, as a matter of fact. Work really well for me in my Slim. I dare say that they feel very similar to the Blues that have all but disappeared.

Seen in a thread several days ago, India may stop production. Guessing consolidation. I believe Silver Blues are out of production.

I can certainly live with the yellows. Stocking up on several of my favorites.

Other way around. Blacks from india, blues from russia.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on 100 yellows. I really like the way they shave. At this rate I won't have to grow a beard or learn to use a str8 until I'm about 80.

Try Gillette Silver Blues, Perma Sharps, and Personna Meds. All great blades.

My findings a couple of years back were Black was a bit sharper, Yellow a bit smoother and also longer lasting. I usually get 5 shaves out of a Yellow, only 3-4 from a Black. If I were to only use one blade, it would be the Yellow.
