What is the differende between all the different tips on the gillette razors? Red? Black? Blue? Flare? Sorry i am a novice and just learning

No prob the only "stupid" question is the one you need to ask but don't.
Red and blue: those were pre adjustable razor offerings by Gillette, blue was a very mild razor,red was the most aggressive, they were both Super Speeds for all intents.
Black tip: as I understand it a black tip is just your standard non flair tip Super Speed but with some material components altered due to shortages during the Korean War.
Flair tip is just a design change to the Super Speed starting in 1954.

Silver Flare Tip = mid-weight, relatively mild
Blue Tip = light weight, very mild

(The only nicks I have given myself with a DE razor since December were with a Black Tip! )

Not a bad starter razor though once the RAD kicks in it most likely won't be the last

The last one on my picture. The difference is it's special box and linear knurling.
