Gifts for my Dad this Father's Day

Of course, now that I've caught the wetshaving bug bad, I've got to spread my disease, right?

My Dad is retired now, and has more time on his hands. He still uses disposable twin-blade shavers and canned goo. I mentioned a while back that I've gone old school with the DE shaving and I got a wary look.

SO......I figure I'll "back-door" introduce him to the old-style way with a few shaving gifts this father's day!!!

Georgetown Pottery G20 Scuttle (in Hamada & Blue), Parker Pure Badger Brush, Proraso Green, TOBS Grapefruit and Eaton College.

Frankly, I'm a little jealous!

Really can't wait for the day to come!

Perhaps this will open the door to ditching his disposable twin blade shavers. We'll see!

Thanks for letting me share!

That's a great way to go. A brush, some good cream, and a scuttle will be a great gift. A lot of men who lived through the days where DE's were the primary razor of choice deliberately dumped DE razors a long time ago. My father in law always gives me an odd look when I mention my DE razors. He's been there, and he prefers the twin blade disposables.

My dad prefers the twin blades as well, but he does value a good brush and quality soap. As far as I know, he has never used the canned foam or gel.

I think you bought great gifts for your dad!
