gift ideas.pen?

My sister's bday is coming up in a week or so and I have no gift as of yet. Just saw a picture on her Instagram showing off a new journal and a cup of coffee. So now I'm thinking a nice pen would be useful to her. I have FPs and love them, but I'm not sure if she would want to deal with all that comes with them (not that it's a lot, but it takes a little dedication). As far as a nice rollerball option, is there anything cool out there? Any other ideas?

Depending on what style she likes, there are options. Personally I don't think you can go wrong with a hooded nib Parker, like the "51" or its little brother "21". Both are relatively fuss free and classy to boot. Cross makes some good pens that are decently priced as well and generally recognized as a nicer pen, even for ball point. Esterbrook has plenty of options for nibs to help her find the style she likes and are easy to use. Do you have any idea of what she uses currently? Might offer some clues. I think a parker and a bottle of nice ink would be a fantastic gift, but that's if your buying it for me!

It would be hard to beat a Goulet gift card. Then, she can decide whether to use it for pens or stationary.
