Well, I received my Gentlemen's Best order from Ray (thirdeye) yesterday, and had my first shave with it this morning. I didn't get a chance to take any photos for my SOTD post today, so I'm putting the pic here.
As you can see I went for the full line up -- SS, AS Splash and Cologne -- and am I ever glad I did! The soap is creamy and slick and has a unique candy-like aroma (that's a good thing), the splash smells fresh and feels great (no alcohol burn at all) and the cologne is clean and masculine. I'm no scent expert, but to me it's got a hint of fruit, some sandalwood and maybe a little talc. It's 6:30 pm, and I am still getting hints of it from my 7:30 am shave, yet it is subtle, not overpowering. Everything is first rate, as you would expect from Ray, and IMHO a bargain at the price. Make no mistake; these boys play in the same league as their considerably more expensive stablemates.
