Now I really wouldn't say we are enablers in here....just a group of people slightly discussing the advantages of writing instruments and all the other stuff that goes with them.

We need to regain our good names !!!

With that said, maybe I should sell all my FP's and go back to a BIC.

Its not the NIBs fault that everyone seems to love the pens, Its not the NIBs fault people go a little nuts

so a few of you showed a few people who showed a few people more, and told their friends and family, and so on, thats hardly the NIBs fault

That's what happened to me. I signed up for the Fall-Winter Sabbatical last year and managed to successfully avoid all the temptations for new razors, brushes, soaps, aftershaves, etc. Of course to keep from going bat-s**t crazy, I had to do something, so I ended up here. Honestly, I should have stuck with shaving stuff...at least I'd still have some money left at the end of the month!

I don't even know what I was thinking, joining that shaving sabbatical... I am surprised I lasted almost three weeks! I do see a bunch of guys from that thread poking around the Nib lately. Lets see how many more we can enabled!

We're not a BIG group of enablers. We're a small group of enablers, relatively speaking. I think fountain pens sell themselves once people try a decent one. I also agree that shave-related sabbaticals are driving folks to The Nib. Fountain pens are a sabbatical loophole.

After enabling syngent, I can honestly say that my work here is done. Methinks that I'll never land a bigger fish.
